PUBLIC NOTICE
UPPER DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP SCHOOL DISTRICT
Notice is duly being given to any interested parties to represent the Upper
Deerfield Township School District Custodians as they have agreed to form a
union. The Upper Deerfield Township Board of Education hereby recognizes
the rights of our custodial staff to organize and become part of an association
to serve as the exclusive representative of all full-time custodians, whether
currently under the employ of the district or on specified and approved leave,
for the purpose of collective negotiations concerning the terms and conditions
of employment of such custodial employees, as provided for and pursuant to
the provisions of the N.J. Employer/Employee Relations Act. Any interested
party may submit their request of representation to the Board of Education
Office located at 1385 State Hwy. 77, Bridgeton NJ, 08302 no later than the
close of business of 4pm, Monday, June 12, 2023. Commencing the opening of
business at 8am on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, the custodial staff will be in a
position to choose the association to provide their exclusive representation.
